Apex Legends is a game of skill, with its characters having trait-based abilities that are difficult to master. The Lifeline Legendary Skins have an interesting take on this idea and make their character entirely vulnerable – but also give her the best chance at a win. These skins all make use of purple as the key color, adding more depth to these already deep characters. Stay tuned for our full review!

One of the most popular games in recent years is Apex Legends, which has quickly become a sensation due to its fast-paced matches and easy access. The release of new characters have been met with much fanfare, but now there are only three heroes left for players to play as: Lifeline, Caustic and Octane. With these few options available it can make finding a build that suits you difficult so we break down all 16 different builds for each character into tiers from worst (1) to best (16).

Lifeline is the newest character to be released in Apex Legends. She has a variety of skins, with some being better than others. This article will rank each skin from worst to best, as well as provide tips on how to use her effectively.

Apex Legends: Lifeline Legendary Skins, Ranked Worst to Best

Today, we’re rating all Lifeline Legendary skins in Apex Legends to see which ones are the finest for any aspiring or real Lifeline mains out there.

A healer class is seen in almost every character shooter. Apex Legends is no exception, however it’s worth noting that the game has only ever had one healer. With her ability to both regenerate health for herself and allies as well as revive them in safety, Lifeline, a launch legend, fits the supportive playstyle niche. She’s been a fan favorite for a long time as a result of this.

In keeping with our typical practice, we’ll rank the famous skins of the combat medic from worst to finest.

So stop moaning and start reading!

Optimal Results

Starting off with one of Lifeline’s default legendries, Optimal Results and it’s recolors bottom out our list. They do give the combat medic a cool visor, but it loses points for not having her wear it. Beyond that the skin has color options and a different jacket than her default. Honestly nothing crazy to write home about. Unfortunately, doing the least to change up a character is a sure-fire way to make for a boring skin.

London is beckoning

London-Calling-1024x576 London-Calling-1024x576 Image: Respawn Entertainment & EA via HGG / Jake Bosee

Bad news for those new to Apex, but Lifeline’s other default legendary is next on our list. London is beckoning is the best of the bunch though, with the punk aesthetic and a skeleton motif fit for doctor. The lore blurb behind this one is also interesting for Lifeline as a character. All in all this Lifeline Legendary skin isn’t terrible, but the skins they’ve released since up the ante.

10/12

Angel of Protection

The reward for purchasing the Lifeline Edition of Apex Legends, Angel of Protection imbues Ajay Che with a heavenly appearance. There’s no doubt that angelic themes fit the character, as teammates will undoubtedly feel gratitude towards you playing this character. The main gripe that I have with this skin comes down to some texture quality issues. This was more evident in the skin lines released in the first year of Apex and is less of a problem these days.

9/12

Titan of Alabaster

alabaster-Titan-1024x576 alabaster-Titan-1024x576 Image: Respawn Entertainment & EA via HGG / Jake Bosee

The first fully transformative skin on this list, Titan of Alabaster came out alongside Season 10’s Emergence Collection Event. This Lifeline legendary skin makes her fully cybernetic, even including the buns on her head. As far as transformative skins go, this one is pretty solid, but obviously not terribly high on this list. Part of my issue with this skin is actually the name. The color isn’t particularly alabaster, and as one of Apex’s shortest characters, it’s odd that she’s called a titan.

Out of the ashes

The reward for reaching level 53 in the Season 3 Battlepass, Out of the ashes takes Lifeline in the opposite direction from Angel of Protection. This skin gives the medic a demonic appearance, complete with horns and cracked onyx skin. This cosmetic withstands the test of time but certainly still looks like it came from Season 3. A red recolor of the skin was made for the Anniversary Collection Event in 2021. Considering the theme, either version looks great.

7/12

My Wave

My Wave, the most current skin on this list, was released in 2022 as part of the Dark Depths Event. Lifeline gets a fantastic mask as well as scaly features on what seems to be a cybernetically enhanced wetsuit in this diving outfit. The only thing holding this skin back is a touch too much of one hue. It’s unlike anything else on this list.

6/12

Stalker of the Ghosts

Season 2’s Iron Crown event was much maligned, but let me tell you that this skin was not the reason why. Easily the best Lifeline skin in the game on release, Judge Jury Executioner was a statement pickup for anyone who loved to get high kills despite playing the “support” legend. Lifeline’s heyday might feel like the past right now but this skin is a good reminder. Stalker of the Ghosts, a reskin came out during the War Games Collection event in Season 8. It’s more or less an updated version of the original so it lands a little bit higher.

5/12

Clear and Breach

The Aftermarket Collection Event in 2020 released a handful of incredibly unique skins into Apex Legends. Lifeline’s Clear and Breach is no exception, as it radically changes the character’s appearance without being a transformation skin. Echoing SWAT team vibes as well as changing her hairstyle into something resembling the night vision goggles from Tom Clancy’s Spliter Cell games, this skin does a lot almost effortlessly.

4/12

Different worlds

Lifeline definitely dressed to impress at Season 7’s Fight Night Collection Event, which provided characters the opportunity to wear their fanciest outfits to the stadiums. Her makeup is perhaps the nicest element of the skin, since it’s something that can go wrong on other skins (just ask Loba.) The colors in this makeup pop, and it all works together to create a stunning complete. The only reason it doesn’t rate higher is because we’ve already reached the pinnacle of excellence.

3/12

Toxic to the core

The best battlepass skin for Lifeline and maybe one of the best battlepasses for skins in general, Season 8 really brought the heat with Toxic to the core. In many ways, this skin takes things a step fuller than London is beckoning by really taking the character into her anarchical side. The skull mask is absolutely the highlight, but her backpack logo also is worth a mention.

2/12

Mic Check

If you’re questioning whether or not this skin belongs on our list, I have two words for you: Hat in the shape of a bucket. This skin, which was released in 2021 as part of the Apex Legends X Market Store, succeeds on all fronts. The texture quality is excellent, and it’s chock-full of intricacies that become more apparent the longer you look at it. Giving her hair more volume was also a nice touch, since her skin is anything from calm.

1/12

Queen of the Pirates

Despite this, nothing will be able to dethrone the queen. Skulls are a huge element of the Lifeline concept, if you hadn’t noticed. Nothing else truly manages to combine the themes of rebellion and medical school as well as bones. This skin offers all of that and more, transcending its roots as a pirate-themed item from the Lost Treasures Collection Event in Season 5.
