Dead by Daylight is a game in which you play as a killer pursuing a victim through a horror-themed map. The game has been around for a few years now, but recently has seen a huge influx of attention and popularity– particularly with the addition of new killers. The most recent addition to the franchise, Nemesis, is a character that constantly reminds you and your victims that he is there, and that he is watching you. To use his perks you need to spend some time with the character’s character screen, the “Perks” tab.

Dead by Daylight is a Free-to-Play (F2P) multiplayer Co-Op horror game developed by Behaviour Interactive and published by Square Enix. It is the sixth game in the Dead By Daylight series and the sequel to 2016’s Dead by Daylight .

Dead by Daylight is a co-op multiplayer horror game that has become a huge hit on the Xbox and PlayStation 4 over the past two years. The game has gained huge popularity since its release in 2017 because of its realistic co-op gameplay and the numerous modding opportunities. The Nemesis Perk System has also been a major source of excitement ever since its debut.

Nemesis is the last assassin to appear in Dead by Daylight Chapter Resident Evil . As always, there is a new unique assassin skill and new benefits. In this article I will analyze three unique advantages of Nemesis and their potential use in Dead by Daylight.

Deathcreeper

Nemesis’ first Perk is Deathstalker, a trainable version of this Perk appears on his Blood Web at level 30. This is how it works: At the beginning of the challenge, the auras of all survivors are shown to you for 4/5/6 seconds. This advantage will be a game changer for the Survivors, as the Assassin can determine the location of all Survivors once the match begins. Survivors must be willing to flee the killer or at least get away from the area where they were born.   word-image-8394 word-image-8395 Lethal Pursuer will be very useful for new Dead by Daylight, killers because it lets you know where survivors usually appear on maps and how to quickly find survivors at the beginning of a challenge. I don’t expect experienced assassins to use this perk, because they already know the spawn points of the survivors.

Hysteria

Nemesis’ second skill is hysteria, and a trainable version of this skill appears on her blood web at level 35. This is how it works: Each time you use a basic attack to bring a healthy survivor into Wounded status, all wounded survivors gain the Oblivion status effect for 20/35/30 seconds. A tantrum can only be triggered once every 60 seconds. Hysteria can give killers the opportunity to stalk unsuspecting survivors. However, it will be difficult to use hysteria effectively because it only kicks in when a survivor is injured, and only affects injured survivors. This creates a problem because you have to abandon the search for the downed survivor to surprise another survivor. There is currently no benefit to finding wounded survivors in the area, other than A Nurse’s Calling.   word-image-8396 word-image-8397 However, the nurse’s vocation depends on the survivors you treat nearby, making Hysteria a very situational perk. Hysteria can work well against Legion, as Legion is good at keeping survivors injured throughout the game. But unless the hysteria is improved, there’s not much point.

Eruption

Nemesis’ third advantage is Eruption, a trainable version of which appears on her blood web at level 40. This is how it works: When a generator is hit, its aura is highlighted yellow. If you kill a survivor with a basic attack, each affected generator explodes, regresses 6% and makes its auras disappear. Any survivor repairing the generator when it explodes screams and becomes immobile for 10/12/14 seconds. Eruption has a duration of 90 seconds. Eruption has potential in builds that use Pop Goes the Weasel, and also combines well with Brutal Strength. This advantage can give you a lot of information as an assassin. You know where the survivors are when it goes off, and you know they can’t turn off their generator or heal it. At the same time, you need to be careful during the operation because bypassing and turning on each generator killer takes a lot of time.   word-image-8398 word-image-8399 To take advantage of the Flare, you must leave the survivor you hit in a dead state, because the moment you catch that survivor, the incapacitate state effect no longer applies to the affected survivor. Eruption gives Assassins more variety in their generator control perks, but the effect is poor and will rarely be used. In reality, he will only have one or two generators on at a time for the duration of the test. These are three unique advantages of Nemesis in the game Dead by Daylight. To see the benefits of Nemesis in action, watch my video below. Overall, these new perks give players more opportunities to create perks. Only Lethal Pursuer will have value in lower to mid-level games, as new assassins use it to explore survivor anchors. But the other two Nemesis perks are mediocre and will not be preferred over the current Meta perks. If you want to know how to use the power of Nemesis during exams, read my article.
