Konami and Bloober Team have joined forces to create a new horror game, called Fear Effect Sedna, a spiritual successor to the Fear Effect series. The new game was announced at the Tokyo Game Show by Konami, who also revealed a new trailer and an official logo for the project. The Fear Effect series started back in 1996 with the original game, Fear Effect, which came out on the PlayStation, and the second game, Fear Effect 2: Retro Helix, which was released on the PlayStation 2.
Deep Silver has done it again. After their successful partnership with CD Projekt Red in bringing their Witcher series to a mainstream audience, the company is now looking to carve out a piece of the action in the realm of video games. With that in mind, it announced they will be partnering up with the horror video game developers at Bloober Team. At the recent Gamescom conference in August, the two partnered up for the upcoming title, Resurrection. The game will be a multiplayer survival horror title that will be releasing on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2018.
Silent Hill publisher Konami and The Medium developer Bloober Team today announced the signing of a to strategic partnership agreement under which the companies will work together on future projects.
The collaboration between Konami and Bloober Team will focus on content development and expertise sharing, according to a Konami spokesperson. While the announcement didn’t give any details on what games we can expect, it will likely revive fans’ hopes for a new Silent Hill game in the series.

Rumors that Bloober Team is working on a Silent Hill game have been circulating the internet for a while now, and today’s announcement is sure to fuel speculation in the coming months.
Konami will announce the contents of the business alliance once the details are finalized, so it may be a while before we know the details. So plenty of time to try out The Medium’s combination of modern and classic survival horror elements, giving it a place on our list of the best PC games of the year.
