Square Enix Presents, the Square Enix-owned subsidiary company that hosts live streams, events and presentations of Square Enix games, has unveiled the lineup for its upcoming Summer event, which will be held in Japan, Europe and the Americas.

Square Enix Presents, a branch of Square Enix that has been active since 2009, tends to surprise fans with some of the most unexpected announcements. And it’s not just Square Enix games. In 2018, they announced that they would be holding a concert to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy, and an anime adaptation of the classic Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. And it looks like they have no intention of slowing down. ▪ The first title announced under the Square Enix Presents banner was Kingdom Hearts III. ▪ The second announcement was Final Fantasy VII Remake.

For the most part, the Square Enix Presents lineup has been pretty lackluster, with only a few games from the publisher grabbing our attention as proper AAA titles. However, the company’s upcoming slate will feature some more interesting titles, and in this series we’ll be bringing you all the news and announcements from the publisher’s upcoming games. For the next installment, we’re turning our attention back to the Final Fantasy franchise, with a couple of new titles in development from the series. The first of these is Final Fantasy XI: Echoes of Fayth, which will be a spiritual successor to the popular MMORPG Final Fantasy XI, developed by Square Enix’s earlier MMO-maker, Square Enix Online. ~~

On the second day of E3 2021, Square Enix created a furor with the Square Enix Presents Summer 2021 event. Find out what to expect at the Cloud House by reading our review – no multi-page transitions required. word-image-7964
